This cable is primarily used for connecting the CardShark HOST port to a mobile host device such as a smartphone. When used on the HOST port, it can provide up to 25W of power via USB Power Delivery (USB-PD).
It can also be used with any generic USB peripherals, on the HOST port or any PAN port, where it provides USB speeds of up to 5 Gbps (USB 3.0).
It is not recommended to use this cable for programming a CardShark via a PC or laptop, since the HOST port also provides USB-PD which can cause unpredictable results with some PC power management configurations. Cable 570-01340 is recommended for programming.
